Loving Beyond Belief

One G-D, One I, One You

Mar 1, 2011

Welcome to OneLife Ministries, an online ministry of Arem Nahariim-Samadhi and Love Light Fellowship. This site is here to lead you into a heart experience of Divine Presence, Who is Love. We recognize “that of the Sacred in each one” and celebrate the diversity of expressions of our Oneness in Grace. We are for peace and nonviolence, and equal rights and justice for all. I hope persons of varied wisdom paths will find inspiration here. Welcome!

Blessings,

Entering the Inner Sanctuary

Enter this sanctuary time by settling down, becoming quiet, and breathing deeply a few breaths. Remind yourself you are in the Presence of Love. This place you are entering, within, is the inner Temple. Here, you are One with Spirit and all persons, and Nature. You may use a mantra, or prayer phrase, follow the breathing in-and-out, or witness the arising and falling of all around you as the manifestation of universal-Grace. Enjoy these moments of Quiet and come out when you are ready. The following video is provided, for those who would like meditative music to accompany your Quiet contemplation:

Namaste' … The Sacred in Me Bows in Reverence to the Sacred in You ...

Tetsugen, a Zen devotee, decided on a huge project – printing of seven thousand copes of the sutras – Buddhist scriptures, which were available only in Chinese. He traveled throughout Japan to collect funds. Some wealthy people offered him as much as a hundred pieces of gold, but mostly he received small coins from peasants. Tetsugen expressed equal gratitude to each donor, regardless of the amount of money given.

After ten long years, he had the funds for the task. Just then the river Uji overflowed and thousands were left without food and shelter. Tetsugen spent all the money he had collected on these suffering people.

Then, he began raising funds again. Several years later he had enough money. But an epidemic spread over the land; so, Tetsugen gave away all he had collected to help the suffering.

Once again he set out, and twenty years later his dream of having the scriptures in the Japanese language finally came true.

The printing block that produced this first edition is on display at the Obaku Monastery in Kyoto. The Japanese tell their children that Tetsugen got out three editions of the sutras; the first two invisible and far superior to the third.
